CCW Instructor, RSO, Author, "Top Gun"
Robert G. Scott is a Certified CCW Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and movie-set gun wrangler. He was “Top Gun” at his police academy, and has served in law enforcement in California and Nevada. Robert is the author of the California CCW Handbook, and has published dozens of informational articles. He has introduced firearm education legislation in the California legislature, and he has authored classroom content for law enforcement which addresses the physics and science of firearm failures. Robert founded Sierra CCW to support evidence-based education for firearm safety, CCW classes, and police science. Robert has also spent many years as a journalist and anchor for a regional television news program.
